SYRI Project Launches Global Conversation on Science and Spirituality

The Spiritual Yearning and Research Inquiry (SYRI) Project is making waves in the intersection of science and spirituality. With over 100 in-depth interviews conducted with biologists and physicists from India, Italy, the UK, and the US, the project uncovers the profound ways scientists grapple with meaning, connection, and mystery.

Led by Dr. Brandon Vaidyanathan, the research highlights the often-overlooked spiritual dimensions in the lives of non-religious scientists, challenging stereotypes and fostering dialogue. The findings will be shared through public events, podcasts, a YouTube video series, and academic publications.

Don't miss the first major event: the International Symposium on "Spiritual Yearning in a Disenchanted Age" featuring Charles Taylor on November 11, 2024, at McGill University.
