Benedetta Nicoli (Ph.D.) is a research fellow in Sociology at the Catholic University of Milan. She has been a visiting scholar at the Center for Study of Religion and Society at the University of Notre Dame (Indiana). She works at the Center for the Anthropology of Religion and Cultural Change (ARC) at the Catholic University of Milan. At the same university, she teaches Sociology and Advanced Sociology Laboratory at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences. Her main research topics concern religious transformations in contemporary society, secularization, and the relationship between science, ultimate questions, and religion.
